Mark Bedell (Fight Director/Choreographer) is pleased to be back in his home state and working with such a talented cast! He is probably best known in Maine as a director, writer and actor for the Krackerjack Theatre Co. (88-02). Over the past 12 years, Mark has become known as a world-class fight director for stage and screen. He has choreographed fights for CARIBBEAN BUCCANEERS (Dominican Republic), WILEY WEST STUNT SHOW (Minnesota), PIRATES VOYAGE (South Carolina) plus countless plays, musicals, films and television shows. As an actor and stuntman, he has been seen in PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN, TRANSFORMERS, TEARS OF THE SUN, ALIAS, PASSIONS and many more, not to mention live performances at Universal Studios Hollywood, Six Flags St. Louis and more. In the past year, he created world-class stunt rigging, lighting and specialty weapons for major theme parks all over the world for Action Point Entertainment in St. Louis; stunt-coordinated an award-winning docudrama and an award-winning psychological horror feature; and fight directed five plays in Maine (four of which were major award-winning plays). Mark continues to run both the Maine and Missouri Academies of Staged Combat. He recently relocated from St. Louis back to his home state of Maine to continue his career in the place he loves most.
