Chiara Klein, Managing Artistic Director, director of Julius Caesar and Twelfth Night: B.A. Dartmouth College (Theater and Psychology) 2010, cum laude; Founding Artistic Director of Temple Israel Center Youth Theater (2004, NY); Youth Services Director of Shakespeare in the Valley (2009-10, NH); Production Associate at NY Musical Theatre Festival (2009, NY); Production Associate at NY Theatre Workshop (2008, NY); Director of Drama at Elmwood Day Camp (2007-8, NY); Founding member of the Dartmouth Rude Mechanicals (2008). Producing credits include 6 installments of the “Hey Let’s Make Musicals Cabaret” at Dartmouth College, COMPAS: Concert for Haiti Relief, and The Dartmouth Pride Theater Festival. Chiara’s directing credits range from musical comedies to Shakespeare with adults, teenagers, and children. She has directed the MaineStage productions of Macbeth, The Taming of the Shrew, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Love’s Labours Lost, and The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). She is currently a joint MFA/MBA degree candidate at the Yale School of Drama and Yale School of Management.
